Jude 1:21 - Keep yourselves in the love of God

The way to love God is to do what He says, His love is not a feeling towards us but its a decision towards us
Romans 1:7, Romans 5:5, Romans 8:39, 2 Cor 13:14
Our love for Him is doing His commandments and the overflow of our revelation of His love for us - God wants you to love Him by knowing that He really loves us
You have to KNOW that God loves you
You cannot love if you don’t know that God loves you
Love is not a feeling, its a decision you make. Love is sacrificial - there are people in this world who are not deserving of love but you are going to have to show love to.
When you withhold mercy you disqualify yourself from experiencing the mercy of the Lord

Love is revealed by what we are willing to give up, not what we are willing to receive
For God so loved the world that He gave - John 3:16, Gen 22
What are you willing to give up for God to show that you love Him? Your time, your money, your resources

Love to God is value and priority - God must be first, not on the list
The evidence of your love for God is the love that you have for people. - Feed my sheep
Matthew 25:31-44 - when I was hungry, you didn’t feed me…
when you love not your brethren, you don’t love God
You have to have it at the back of mind that God dwells in people,

How do we share the love of God?

We share the gospel with them - Anybody that is not saved will go to hell, a good person without Jesus is still going to hell - 1 John 5:13
