How Organs Get Oxygen
How the Organ Get Oxygen:
The respiratory system is responsible for supplying oxygen to the organs in the human body. When we inhale, air enters the lungs and travels through the bronchial tubes. The bronchial tubes divide into smaller tubes called bronchioles, which lead to tiny air sacs called alveoli. Oxygen from the air we breathe passes through the walls of the alveoli and into the bloodstream. The heart then pumps oxygen-rich blood to the organs and tissues of the body, where it is used for energy production. Carbon dioxide, a waste product of cellular respiration, is carried back to the lungs by the bloodstream and exhaled during exhalation.
