Illustrator notes

Session1

  • When we enter the windows and want the tool bar we use the advanced one

  • If we want to move anything we use the selection tool

  • Whenever we want to use the rectangle tool we have to click on shift

  • Command A if I want to select everything and if I want just to remove one thing we select if with shift after doing command A

  • We can’t do layers

  • If I want to move something into the front I click on the thing I want to then right click then arrange then send to back or front

  • If I want to change the size of my rectangle “ transform” and I put the length and width or double click while on the rectangle tool and put my sizes

  • If I want the ruler control R we take the ruler and put it on the edge we select everything we want and put the measurements on “x” and “y”

  • We select the object , we want to duplicate , alt shift and we drag

  • If I want to remove the boarders I color the selected item and under it their will be a rectangle with a slash , we click on the broader and then the rectangle with a slash

  • If I want an item to be transparent from inside I click on it then I click on the rectangle with a slash.

  • If I want to lock a rectangle “object lock selection” and I want to unlock “object unlock all”

  • If I want to hide a rectangle “object hide” then if I want to see it “object, show all”.

  • If I want to change a color of a rectangle like another rectangle I use the “eyedropper tool”

  • If I want to change the

  • To change the unit of the file → illustrator , file ,settings, units.

  • Line segment the window of it is ( transparency, stroke)

  • To make thick and thin their’s a profile inside of stroke tahet)

  • If I want to change the shape of the rectangle or shape we use the”direct selection tool”

  • If we want to reflect a shape ( right click,transform, reflect) we put the regle then we select both of them then align them the align the second shape with the regle.

  • If i want to make my object the same color :Select ,same, fill color

  • If a stroke is thick and I want to make it thin

  • If I want to make something smaller and it lost its details ( transform, scale, scale strokes and effects)
