Daily devotional 6.21

Gen 26:12-16

After people seem to flourish being blessed, people seem to fear and resent them.

Even back in the bible days.. people still hate on you when you are doing good. Successful people get killed out of jealousy or the “power” people think they have.

This lesson shows me to have good judgement of my surroundings. Also, not to hate on others. My blessing is coming. Stay on your path and keep working.

Dear Heavenly father,

Please help me to not compare myself to others. Please help me with surrounding myself with people who follow you. I can see myself in this frustrated period when I see my friends doing so good and getting married. Those friends worked for what they have. They follow you faithfully. Help me see people for their ways. Please be with me when I am successful and to not let it get to my head.
