• Ex: NaCl - sodium chloride

nonmetal + nonmetal = prefix (or not if 1) + nonmetal + prefix (or not if 1) + nonmetal + ide

• N₂O₄ - Dinitrogen Tetroxide

• CO₂ - Carbon Dioxide
