Course Policies

  • Communication: Instructor available during office hours or by appointment; respond to emails within 24 hours; if no response within 72 hours, follow up with a second email and include name, class, and subject
  • Late Work: Papers may be submitted up to 24 hours after deadline without penalty; after 24 hours, 50% deduction if no prior communication; after 48 hours, papers will not be accepted; quizzes and exams exempt from this policy
  • Attendance & Excused Absences: Excused absences include illness/injury, immediate family issues, religious reasons, jury/military service, and university-approved activities; notify at least one week in advance for religious or military obligations
