The story of Job

The book of Job

Job is a man that was tested by God to see if his faith would wither through the trials of adversity. Satan thought he was full of it because God blessed him with so much.

Job 11:14-17

“If you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then free of fault, you will lift up your face; you will stand firm and without fear. You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning.

This passage stands out to me because I go through my problems because of self-exposure. I put sin in my hand. Cutting down from social media has gave me a taste of what life could be like if I let go the hand of sin.

I can apply this passage better to my life by cutting off more temptations and to stop playing with fire.

Dear heavenly father,

Thank you for putting this message in front of me today. I have been struggling throughout the day with negative thoughts that are begging to be fulfilled. Nothing will change unless I stand firm in you. I do not want to go down this same loophole lord. Please help me with this battle. Thank you for your constant grace and mercy lord. In Jesus name. Amen

Job 17-20

I know that my redeemer lives.

Through all the adversity, still have faith.

===================================

Good things do happen to wicked people..

God may not be in sight, but trust that he is there. Life is currently not the best. I feel very stuck at times but God is still present.

I need to observe God working through me. I wan’t to quit but I must keep going.

I need to apply God in my life my consistency. His message will be more strong and clear.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come here today thanking you for your presence in my life. I thank you for your encouragement you provide me to keep going everyday. I ask you to keep giving me hope when there is no movement at all. I love you so much. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
