Hurricane energy

• Hurricanes feed on water vapor evaporated from the ocean

• Only warm water evaporates fast enough to fuel these storms

• Smaller storms happen because of cold water vapor

Climate Change

• An area where weather patterns averaged from data collected over decades

• Earth has experienced multiple changes in climate over the 4 billion years

• Climate is constantly shifting

• Plate tectonics shift which changes the climate of the content

• Increase in CO2 enhances the greenhouse effect which makes it hotter

• Climate change is not a political issue but rather a large issue that needs politics

• Isotopes - Different forms of the same element that contains protons

• Oxygen can come as multiple isotopes, but studies mostly focus on 16O and 18O
