• Key Focus: Ensure the story establishes a strong mood for the reader.

Contemporary Possibilities (Section 2 – Sherlock & John Watson's Blog)

• Analyze what makes Sherlock an engaging text to watch:

• Outline key events.

• Identify cinematic techniques used.

• Explain why those techniques are effective.

• Incorporate references to John Watson's blog in every body paragraph.

• Key Focus: Directly address prompt questions centered on the text being "worth viewing."

Close Study of Literature (Section 3 – Wilfred Owen Poetry)

• Compose one detailed analytical paragraph for each of the three studied poems:

• Dulce et Decorum Est

• Anthem for Doomed Youth

• Futility

• Utilize booklet answers from Google Classroom as a foundation to develop original paragraphs with individual examples and themes.

• Key Focus: Analyze how tone and mood are created by Owen (review the Theme, Tone & Mood presentation, particularly Slide 9).
