Activity 1: Emoji Life Story

Participants create a funny representation of pivotal life moments using emojis on poster boards, fostering connections through shared experiences while infusing humor into storytelling.

Materials:
Poster boards, markers, emoji reference sheets (printed emojis), and stickers for decoration.

Steps:

• (2 min) Distribute materials (poster boards, markers, emoji sheets) to each participant.

• (5 min) Explain the activity: participants will select five emojis that embody significant moments in their life and illustrate them on the board with explanations.

• (10 min) Give participants time to create their life story using emojis, encouraging humor in their choices and when explaining to others—"What’s funnier than being a math whiz depicted by the 'nerd' emoji?"

• (8 min) Participants pair up and share their creations, prompting laughter and connections over silly emoji choices.

• (5 min) Regroup as a whole and invite a few volunteers to share their stories, integrating humor and revealing shared experiences.
