Irregular Informal (Tú) Commands

These verbs have unique affirmative command forms:

• Venir → Ven (Come)

• Decir → Di (Say/Tell)

• Salir → Sal (Leave)

• Hacer → Haz (Do/Make)

• Tener → Ten (Have)

• Ir → Ve (Go)

• Poner → Pon (Put)

• Ser → Sé (Be)

Irregular Negative Informal Commands

Use the yo form, drop -o, and add:

• -ar verbs → -es

• -er/-ir verbs → -as

  Remeber go verbs

  Decir – to say – digo.

  Hacer – to do, to make – hago.

  Poner – to put – pongo.

  Salir – to leave, to go out – salgo.

  Tener – to have – tengo.

  Venir – to come – vengo.

  Caer – to fall – caigo.

Usted:

• Dar → (No) dé

• Estar → (No) esté

Ustedes:

• Ir → (No) vayan

• Saber → (No) sepan

• Ser → (No) sean

Irregular Nosotros Commands

• Vamos (Let’s go)

• No vayamos (Let’s not go)

  Comer → (No) comamos (Let’s eat / Let’s not eat) Cantar → (No) cantemos (Let’s sing / Let’s not sing)
