Time used cellphone/smart-phone to do something important.
This topic reminds me of the time when I moved to Ho Chi Minh city for tertiary education. If my memory serves me right, it was my second day in the city when I decided to explore on my own using a motorbike. My plan was very simple: visit a supermarket to buy some essentials and return to my dormitory. However, things didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. As I turned onto what I thought was the correct street, I soon realized I found myself lost in a crowded area with no clue how to return. At that moment, I felt panicked and started wandering aimlessly from street to street. In the midst of this confusion, I quickly remembered my brother's advice about using Google Maps on the smartphone if I’ve got lost. After entering the address of my dormitory, I tried to follow the route it provided. At one point, I missed a turn because I was too focused on avoiding traffic, but the app quickly recalculated the route and got me back on track. When I finally reached the dorm, I was overjoyed and decided to take a cool shower to calm down. That day, my smartphone saved me, and I was truly grateful to have it.
