DIG (DIRECT-INJECTION-GASOLINE)

Direct Injection Gasoline (Turbo engine). Engine system where petrol or diesel is injected directly into the engine cylinder instead of into a pre-combustion chamber or manifold.

Direct injection gives more efficient combustion, with better fuel consumption and lower emissions.

SUPERCHARGED

A supercharger is an air compressor attached to a car's engine. It physically forces more oxygen into the combustion chambers, allowing the engine to burn more fuel and generate significantly more horsepower and torque than it would on its own

Supercharger: Powered directly by the engine via a mechanical belt. It provides immediate power but consumes a small amount of the engine's power to operate,

→ Bascially, pushes air into the engine at a higher rate than the engine itself would be able to on its own, allowing the engine to burn more fuel and generate a massive increase in horsepower and torque.

How?

  • Instead of relying on the engine to naturally pull in air, the supercharger acts like an air pump driven directly by the engine's crankshaft (usually via a belt)

  • Air + Fuel = Power: By packing the cylinders with compressed air, the car's computer can inject more fuel to create a bigger, more powerful explosion during every engine cycle

  • Instant Response: Because it is directly mechanically linked to the engine, it delivers a burst of power the moment you press the gas pedal, with no "lag".
