Contemporary Art Form:
- Digital Art. refers to any form of artistic expression or creative practice that incorporates digital technology as an essential part of creative process.
- Street Art. a form of artistic expression that is created in public spaces and is often associated with urban environments. (graffiti); characterized by its location in public areas, making it accessible to anyone who passes by.
- Conceptual Art. an artistic environment that emerged in the late 1960’s and gained prominence in the 1970’s. Characterized by placing emphasis on the concept or idea behind the art work rather than the physical object.
- Installation Art. a genre of contemporary art that involves creating 3D works in specific locations, often transforming the perception and experience of a space.
- Performance Art. a genre of contemporary art in which the artist uses their own body or presence as the medium to create an artwork; involves live presentation of actions, gesture, movements, or interactions with the audience.
