• Tener = to have
• Forms of Tener:
  • yo: tengo (I have)
  • tú: tienes (you sing. have)
  • él/ella/usted: tiene (he/she/it has)
  • nosotros/as: tenemos (we have)
  • vosotros/as: tenéis (you pl. have)
  • ellos/ellas/ustedes: tienen (they have)

Age Expressions

• Tengo doce años (I am 12 years old)
• ¿Cuántos años tenéis? (How old are you, plural?)
• Tienen doce años (They are 12 years old)
• Mi hermano tiene ocho años (My brother is 8 years old)

Basic Greetings and Phrases

• ¡Hola! = Hello
