Adapters

• Adapters convert interfaces from one format to another - they convert between different connectors for electrically compatible systems.

• Examples:

  • DVI-D to HDMI - connects a HDMI interface to a DVI-D interface

    

    • DVI-A to VGA - connects a VGA interface to a DVI-A interface

    

  • USB to Ethernet

    

• USB hub: Peripheral device that we plug into our computer with a USB connection, and allows multiple interface connections.
