DISTINCTION OF WELL DEFINED SET AND NON WELL-DEFINED SET :

EX. = The set of RED apples / The set of BLUE Tshirts

: A non well-defined set is a set that has a opinion in their set (?)

EX = The set of TALL teenagers / The set of all OLD people

Roster method and Set building notation

Roster Method: this is the Listing method. Listing the elements of the set.

( ex. = Set of odd numbers / A = ( 3 , 5 , 7 , 9 … ) )

Set Building notation method: A method that lists the rules that determine whether an object is an element of the set or simply describes elements.

You basically describe the elements in the Set Building Notation.

( ex. = D = ( 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , … ) / The set of all even numbers. )
