Solutions
A Solution is a stable, uniform mixture of two or more mixtures.
Solutions is made when a solute is dissolved in a solvent.
Solute: The substance that is dissolved
Solvent: The substance that dissolves the solute and makes the solution.
This together when mixed forms a solution

Example of this: Salt is the solute, the one being dissolved. And then Water, which is the Solvent, dissolving MORE substances than any other solvent
Water is known as the universal solvent because it has the ability to dissolve MORE substances than any other solvent.
Characteristics of a Solution:
• Have small particles that are invisible to the naked eye.
• Usually transparent but can be colored
• Do not separate when left still like water and oil.
