Recent Activities:
Met up with friends from Kent to attend a rugby match at the local stadium. The event was an exciting afternoon filled with socializing and enjoying high-energy moments of the game, particularly when our team scored. We gathered at a lively sports bar beforehand, where the atmosphere was electrifying, with fans donning team jerseys, cheering loudly, and enjoying pre-game drinks.
After the match, which ended around 7 PM, I returned home around 9 PM, where I continued to chat with friends on messaging apps, sharing our favorite moments, funny incidents, and even debating some of the referee’s calls during the match. I felt exhausted from all the excitement and social interaction by 10 PM and decided to go to bed early to recover.
Morning Activities:
Started the day with a refreshing dog walk in the nearby park. Participating in a morning race was invigorating, but it felt a bit odd as I didn’t take my own dog along since it is currently in Wales. I felt guilty for not having my dog with me, as the experience of walking someone else's dog felt incomplete without my furry companion by my side.
Thoughts on Dogs and Kennels:
I was deeply impressed by my past experience working in dog kennels, fondly recalling the challenges I faced, including the emotional difficulty of leaving 30 dogs, each with its own personality, behind each day. I shared a lighthearted thought about potentially moving into the kennels, imagining a daily routine surrounded by the joy and antics of so many dogs, despite the responsibilities it entails like daily feeds, walks, and cleaning their spaces.
Discussion on Rugby:
Confirmed my previous experience playing rugby during university, where I enjoyed the camaraderie, teamwork, and spirit of the game. I admitted to not being very skilled and noted my small stature, which made me feel somewhat intimidated during scrimmages. I primarily played on the wing position due to my speed, which was an advantage, but often preferred to evade tackles since many of my teammates, especially the female players, were much larger and more physically imposing. I reminisced about a few matches where I successfully dodged strong tackles, feeling a mix of thrill and fear.
Questions for the Recipient:
I inquired about whether the recipient enjoys playing any sports and their experiences, hoping to share some fun stories. Additionally, I asked if the recipient had managed to look at train times, curious about their travel plans or any adventures they might have lined up.
