A: The process of analysing and identifying skills/knowledge gaps and surpluses to predict short- and long-term labour requirements.

A: Data collection and analysis, job analysis (tasks/skills needed), and job descriptions (outlining positions).

  • Historical data (sales/productivity)

Recruitment

Q: Define recruitment.

A: The process of actively seeking and attracting potential job candidates.

Q: What are features of recruitment?

A: Positive proactive process, self-promotion of business, advertising job vacancies, obtaining a pool of candidates, internal vs external.

A:
