• Cameroon is a presidantial republic, it is a unitary state with ten regions, Cameroon has two official languagues : french and english

• Le Cameroun est une république présidentielle. C’est un État unitaire composé de dix régions.Le Cameroun possède deux langues officielles : le français et l’anglais.

Date d’indépendance :

• Cameroon gained independance from France on Janurary 1st 1960, the southern part of british cameroon joined the country on October 1st 1961

• Le Cameroun a obtenu son indépendance de la France le 1er janvier 1960. La partie sud du Cameroun britannique a rejoint le pays le 1er octobre 1961

• Cameroon joined the Commonwealth on November 1st 1995. It is a member because part of its territory was formerly under british administration. Cameroon is aslo member of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie.

• Le Cameroun a rejoint le Commonwealth le 1er novembre 1995. Il en est membre car une partie de son territoire était autrefois sous administration britannique. Le Cameroun est également membre de l’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie.
