Daily Structure: Lancaster High School (LHS) operates on a 9-period day.
Standard 9th Grade Period Schedule:
Period 1: English 9
Period 2: Global 9
Period 3: Math
Period 4: Science
Period 5: PE 9/ Science Lab
Period 6: Lunch
Period 7: Health/Foundations for Success
Period 8: Elective or Language course
Period 9: Additional elective or alternate course
Scheduling Requirements:
Students must provide elective choices and at least one alternate selection to account for potential scheduling conflicts.
The remaining periods can be filled with Study Hall (a full -minute period, available as a full-year or seasonal option), Art or Music (one full credit in either is required for graduation), Academic Intervention Service (AIS) if mandated, or Special Education support periods (Resource Room or Reinforcement period) if mandated by an IEP.

10th Grade Course Sequence:
