• Big ideas is what matters so highlight through the documents for better understanding.

Kepler: Built upon Copernicus’ idea, laws of planetary motion. Figured out all this mathematically and started the trend of learning yourself.

Rousseau: Emphasized the importance of the general will and the social contract as a foundation for legitimate political authority.

Napoleon: understand the series of events rather than the small details, his growth through a merit based society.

French Revolution: Enlightenment ideas and meritocracy.
