The American revolution was caused by the British imposing of taxes and non-representation in governing.

The Declaration of Independence states many Enlightenment ideals such as natural rights.

Latin Revolutions

Latin revolutions came about because of inequality in social and political issues.

French Revolution

In the French revolution, the third estate was not treated equally and was heavily taxed.
