Falling From a Tower

a = g which is + 9.80m/s²

y=12at2y=\frac12at^2

>——————<

Thrown From a Tower

y=Vot+12at2y=Vo\cdot t+\frac12a\cdot t^2

Velocity after time passes → V=Vo+atV=Vo+a\cdot t

>———————<

Ball Thrown Upward

y → positivie in an upward direction and negative in a downward reaction (accerlaation due to gravity will have a negative sign -9.80 m/s²)

  • As ball rises, speed decreases until it reaches the highest point where speed = 0, then decesends with increasing speed

  • Max Height → calculate when ball velocity equals zero (v = 0 at highest point)

Kinematic Equations

V → final velocity, velocity, Vo → original velocity, a→ acceleration, t → time, x→ distance,

V2=Vo+atV^2=Vo+at

x=Vot+12at2x=Vot+\frac12at^2

V2=Vo2+2axV^2=Vo^2+2ax
