Car Speed Problems
Problem 1: A car travels 960 km. Find the average speed.
Solution: Average speed = Distance / Time
Problem 2: A car travels 90 km in 50 minutes. Calculate distance at constant speed for 2 hours and 23 minutes.
Solution: Convert time to hours and use average speed if necessary.
Problem 3: A car travels a certain distance in 3 hours. Find the speed to cover the same distance in 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Solution: Use distance = speed × time to find the new speed.
Bike Speed Problem
- Problem: A bike rider travels 12 km at 15 km/h. Find the total time.
- Solution: Time = Distance / Speed. Total time can also include additional distances if provided.
