Causes of Muscle Weakness

Muscle Weakness: This is when your muscles are too tired or hurt and can't help you move like they should. Why Muscles Might Be Weak:

  • Herniated Disc: This is when a soft part in your back pops out and pushes on nerves, making your muscles hurt and weak.

  • Muscle Strain: This happens when you pull a muscle really hard, like when you play too rough. It can hurt and make that muscle feel weak.

  • Fractures: If you break a bone, it can make it hard for your muscles to work well, and they might feel weak until you heal.

  • Osteoarthritis: This is when your joints (where two bones meet) get old and don't move well anymore, so the muscles around them can get weak too.

  • DJD (Degenerative Joint Disease): This means that, over time, your joints start to break down, causing pain and making your muscles weak because they don't get to move around much anymore.
