It includes any software that targets and compromises the integrity of a device, including viruses, worms, ransomware, and more, leading to loss of data, privacy, and security.
Internet Fraud: A type of cybercrime that occurs when a perpetrator deceives an individual or business online for financial gain. This can include phishing scams, credit card fraud, auction fraud, and identity theft, where attackers trick victims into providing personal or financial information under false pretenses. Awareness and vigilance are key to avoiding falling victim to such schemes.
