Bee Farming

• The size of the honeycomb hole determines what type of bee is born - bigger holes for queens/drones

• 雄蜂 = drones （male）
  工蜂 = workers （female）
  蜂王 = queen

• One have can have several queens.

• Drones do not have stingers and are bigger than workers but not as big as queens.

• To be considered a bee farmer for the Taiwanese government, you need at least 100 boxes (hives?). Sometimes farmers share around their boxes to pass inspections.

• It takes about 1 month for them to build a hive.

• The bee can be born without wings/with shrivelled wings because of a pathogen.
