Lecture Announcements and Midterm Overview

  • Reminders regarding the midterm:

    • The midterm exam closes tomorrow; students must have their exam in hand by 11:00 AM.

    • Students arriving after 11:05 AM will not be allowed to take the exam.

    • Emphasis on the importance of attempting the exam, regardless of perfection. Some students may be taking a midterm for the first time in college.

    • Professors assure that the only way to fail the class is to give up; fulfilling all assignments and tests prevents failure, irrespective of scores.

    • Office hours are open for discussing study techniques or personal concerns related to performance on the midterm.

  • Upcoming review sessions:

    • Scheduled for Monday through Wednesday following the midterm for exam review. Students are encouraged to attend.

    • Students need to come prepared with specific questions regarding the questions they answered incorrectly on the exam.

    • Important to write down missed answers and to bring student ID for test access.

Meme Assignment and Federalist Papers
