Today In class we discussed the topic of scientific knowledge and what characteristic scientists need to obtain in order to fall under this catergorie. We discussed how in order to be a scientist one needs to be emotionally unattached and passive in order to let things take their natural course. In addition to this we explored how scientists need to be unbiased and repetitive in order to create a fair and equal test. We then discussed and explored the idea of ethics in which we concluded they explored the boundary of right and wrong and ones moral values, ultimately it is what it’s important to each individual and the way they live their lives could be based off these ethics. In particular we looked at if one was to visit a medical professional presenting with an injury which they later let on was caused by their partner. As the medical professional they now have a duty of theirs to report this incident as a duty of care to their patient.
