  1. Provisioning Services: Goods produced or provided by ecosystems.
  2. Regulating Services: Benefits from regulation of ecosystem processes.
  3. Cultural Services: Non-material benefits from ecosystem.
  4. Support services: Factors necessary for producing ecosystem services.

SOLID WASTE

  • the useless and unwanted products in the solid state derived from the activities of an discarded by society.

TYPES OF SOLID WASTE:

  1. Municipal Waste
    • known as trash or garbage and include items such as food, paper, plastics, textiles, leather, wood, glass, metals and sanitary waste in septic tank.
  2. Mining Waste
    • from extracting and processing mineral resources which includes materials such as topsoil overburden and waste rock and tailings.
  3. Biomedical Waste
    • any waste, which is generated during the diagnosis, treatment, or immunization or human beings or animals.
  4. Industrial Waste
    • includes materials such as demolition waste, scraps from manufacturing processes and ash from combustion.
  5. Agricultural Waste
    • acquired from farming and poultry.
