Stamen(s) :: Male part of flower and contains the anther and the filament
Anther :: Contains cells which produce the male gametes inside the pollen grains
Filament :: Tube attached to anther
Pollen grains :: Contains the male gametes
Pollen sac :: Cells lining pollen sacs divide by meiosis to form 4 cells that develop into the pollen grain
Carpel (pistil) :: Female part of flower
Ovules :: Contains an egg sac that surrounds the egg cell ( female gamete)
Style :: Pollen tube grows down the style into the ovule
Stigma :: Top part of the carpel where pollen grain lands
Ovary :: Found at base of carpel which protects the female gamete from dry air outside. Contains 1 or more ovules
