Die Cutting - Die very similar or exactly like a Jig.

Simply said Die Cutting is like cutting something with a jig meaning that the purpose of this activity is to probably either cut something many times in the same way or to perfectly cut one thing exactly as requested.

Considering the Die Cutting process there are two things that make it special compared to Compression Moulding being that of the:

• Creasing Rule

• Steel Rule

These two rules come together making everything possible as overall Die Cutting is a process for Paper & Boards and in turn are there to make nets out of them which then of course show the base required processes for those materials being Creasing and Cutting.

Creasing — To fold.
Cutting — To Cut.

Smart Materials are indeed smart!

Considering the disassembly with Smart Materials being one of the key components the end of life for this product is an easy one thanks to the use of smart materials as with the great characteristics presented where they can be easily separated for more easier recycling etc. this all makes it a great material considering sustainability but also a consideration for when making products.
