timings:

• the roleplay is first and lasts around 2 minutes

• in your 12 mins of preparation, you should only spend 2 - 4 minutes preparing for the roleplay

‘!’ - you have to respond to a suprise question that you can’t prepare for

‘?’ - you have to ask the teacher a question

what am i assessed on?

• 10 marks for communication

  • 2 marks for each of the five role-play tasks

  • message must be conveyed without ambiguity

  • responses must be correct and mustn’t be followed by an incorrect response

• 5 marks for knowledge and use of language

  • tense usage and verb usage is always accurate

reminders:

• refer to your notes during the role-play but also try not to read off of it the WHOLE time.

• only write short, quick responses that answer the questions directly.

• don’t forget to ask your question.

• if it says to give two details, give two details!!!
