What Leaders Do
- Leaders are responsible for:
- Developing the vision and long-term strategies of the organization.
- Communicating the vision/plan to followers.
- Producing change and movement.
- Establishing the direction for the organization.
- Motivating and inspiring followers.
Responsible Leaders' Responsibilities
- Responsible leaders are responsible for various stakeholders:
- Employees: Encourage respectful collaboration, ensure humane, safe, healthy, and non-discriminatory working conditions, provide fair and equal employment opportunities, and address employees’ needs (e.g., well-being).
- Clients and customers: Meet their needs and well-being, ensure safe products, and have open and transparent communication about real and potential risks.
- Business partners: Treat business partners respectfully and fairly and provide fair prices and trading conditions.
- Social and natural environment: Ensure production processes are as environmentally friendly as possible and foster contributions to society.
- Shareholders: Provide transparent reporting on financial, social, and ecological performance.
- Future generations: Contribute to social change for a sustainable future and anticipate a desirable future.

Assessments
- Three in-semester assessments:
- Assessment 1 (20%) - Week 4 (Individual).
- Assessment 2 (40%) - Week 8 (Group work).
- Groups must be formed in tutorial class; forming groups across classes is not allowed.
- Groups must be registered on Course Canvas by WEEK 5.
- Assessment 3 (40%) - Week 13 (Individual).
