Electricity

What is it?

Electricity is the flow of charged particles, most commonly electrons. Objects, like heat, either insulate or conduct electricity. For example, metals conduct electricity due to their sea of delocalized electrons.

Measurements of electricity

Potential difference: Measured in Volts (V), it is the difference between + and - of an object. It can be found when missing using the formula of V=IR, in which I is the current and R is the resistance.

Current: Measured via amps, it is represented as I and measured how many particles are flowing at a given time.

Resistance: The “friction” of electricity.
