Adjectives
Japanese adjectives have two categories based on how they end
な-adjectives
い-adjectives
い-adjectives
these adjectives get modified at the end
Example: たかい・高い (high or expensive)

な-adjectives
easier to use, similar to english
the な is placed between the adjective and the noun
田中さんは有名な歌手です。
Tanaka-san wa yuumei na kashu desu.
Tanaka-san is a famous singer.
When conjugating な adjective tense you alter the verb linked to it
Example: 元気・げんき
