  • Primary Services: Research, industry training, advisory consultation, and certify Muslim-Friendly Tourism and Hospitality (MFTH) standards.
Global Destinations
  • Southeast Asia: Malaysia and Indonesia are ranked jointly as top destinations. Singapore leads among non-OIC nations.
  • Middle East: Key hubs include Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey.
  • Non-OIC Performance: Average GMTI scores for non-Muslim countries increased by over 6%6\% in 20242024, highlighting improved efforts in Britain, Taiwan, and Australia.

  1. Essential Facilities:
    • Provide Qibla indicators and prayer mats in accommodations.
    • Designate clean prayer areas for guests.
  2. Halal Gastronomy:
    • Offer certified halal food and ensure no cross-contamination.
  3. Activities and Entertainment:
    • Provide gender-specific facilities such as separate pools or spas.
    • Ensure entertainment aligns with Islamic moral standards.
  4. Marketing:
    • Use targeted, culturally sensitive strategies to promote halal-friendly attributes and attractions.
