Do Miracles Actually Happen?

What is a miracle? A miracle is an event beyond scientific or natural standards, often associated with divine intention or God.

Examples:

1. Moses’ miracle - when he parted the sea

2. When Jesus walks on water

3. Muhammad’s night journey to heaven

David Hume said that there has never been a proper miracle. He said people were wrong.

Example scenario:

You get diagnosed with terminal cancer. Only one doctor on earth can save you.

1. The treatment is not available on state services.

2. You need £15 million to get the treatment…

3. … Then you win the lottery and get £15 million.

4. You are saved.
