Belief in the Messengers of Allah
Overview
The fourth article of faith: belief in Allah's messengers.
Every nation gets a messenger to teach worship of Allah alone.
Prophets as Human Beings
All messengers are human, chosen by Allah to share His messages.
Becoming a prophet is not personal choice; it's God's decision.
Qur'an says: "Allah chooses messengers from angels and men." (Surat al-Hajj, 22:75)
Every nation had a messenger: "Each nation had a warner." (Surat Faatir, 35:24)
Some messengers are mentioned in the Qur'an, some are not: "Messengers we told you about and others we didn’t." (Surat an-Nisaa', 4:164)
Preservation of Message
Earlier messages got changed, so Allah sent new messengers.
Islam is the final religion, kept pure and true through Prophet Muhammad.
Nature of Prophets
Prophets are regular people facing common struggles.
They are not divine but are the best among humans.
They only know what was revealed to them by Allah.
Qur'an says: "I am only a human being like you..." (Surat Fussilat, 41:6)
Correct Belief in Allah's Messengers
All messages come from Allah; rejecting one messenger means rejecting all.

Following their teachings is crucial for getting guidance from Allah.
Role of Prophets
Prophets are vital for guiding people, even more than basic needs.
They brought proof and miracles to support their messages.
Prophetic Succession
Aadam is the first prophet, and the last is Muhammad.
Muhammad's message is for everyone: "I am the Messenger of Allah to you all." (Surat al-A'raaf, 7:158)

They focused on the Oneness of Allah (tawheed) and warned against false gods.
The main message: believe in one God who rewards good deeds and punishes bad ones.
Distinction between Nabee and Rasool
A rasool (messenger) brings new laws.
A nabee (prophet) guides according to existing laws.

Twenty-five prophets are named in the Qur'an, including Aadam, Ibrahim, Musa, and Muhammad.
Muhammad's role is like a completed house with one stone missing, showing he is the last prophet.
