For Associate of Arts & Associate of Science, a major is not predetermined but can be focused on a future Bachelor’s degree.
In Applied Associate degrees, majors are predetermined based on the degree pursued.

Admission Requirements
Specific programs at LCCC and four-year institutions have specific admission requirements. For instance:
LCCC Nursing (RN) Program:
Official high school or GED and college transcripts required.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 on all college-level coursework.
Completion of specific courses (BIOG 221, CHMY 161, ENGL 161, PSYH 151) with a grade of C or better.
SDEV 101 with a grade of C or better and proficient score on ATI TEAS Exam.
Miami University’s Farmer School of Business (FSB):
At least 30 graded credit hours earned applicable to the Bachelor of Science in Business.
Typically, an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher is needed.
Completion of ECO 201 and MTH 141 or equivalent.
Grades now will impact future admission since college GPA follows the student.
Sequenced Courses & Prerequisites
Prerequisite Definition:
Required course completion before taking another course.
Example: FNCE 251 requires ACTG 152, ECNM 151, and ECNM 152.

Associate Degrees: Minimum of 60 credit hours, generally not exceeding 65 hours.
Bachelor Degrees: Minimum of 120 credit hours.
