  • adverbs describe the action of a verb

  • answers questions such as “where”, “when”, “how”, “how long”, or “how often”

  • can be used for aknist akk verbs

    • ex : edouard cuisine bien - edouard cooks well

  • an adverb may also qualify for an adjective or another adjective

    • qualify in this setting means that the adverb adds more meaning to the word that comes after it.

    • qualifying adverbs can come before a verb, noun, adverb or adjective to provide it with more context
