The TCC Computer Club on the Virginia Beach campus can assist with webcam issues and computer problems.

The article must agree in gender and number with the noun (e.g., "el profesor," "la profesora," "los animales").
Indefinite articles in English are "a, an, some," while Spanish has: Un, una, unos, unas.
In grammar, the endings of the nouns and articles are typically in agreement and math says, "hey, we take precedent", but language professors don't let this happen: fight math back.

Not everything is what we want it to be.
A general rule is that nouns ending in "o" are 98% masculine.
Nouns ending in a consonant are about 60% masculine. These must be learned individually.
Cognates (words that look and mean the same in both languages) often follow predictable gender patterns, such as "problema" (problem), "systema" (system), "programma" (program), and "phanthasma" (phantom) being masculine.
Nouns ending in "a" are typically feminine, but there are exceptions such as "el mapa" (map).
Feminine nouns are 99% reliable; nouns ending in "-ción" and "-sión" are 100% feminine. Example: "la mesa."
Nouns that end in "-ad", "-dad", are feminine.

Languages evolve alongside the communities that use them.

If the sex of a pet or animal is unknown, use the masculine form.
For transgender and non-binary individuals, always use grammatical gender that corresponds a person's identity.

The professor explains when you want to ask someone their pronouns. Example: And the response should be, fill in the blank with or another pronouns, I already have this info such as aya.
"Latinx" is not currently used in the sentence structure. It is not widely used outside of the USA.
Spanish is a highly gendered language; is not yet adapted systematically to account for non-binary identities. And the example is the redundancy on gendered nous, articles, and addjectives has also emerged from the Spanish speaking communities.
Language evolves alongside the communities that use it.

Vocabulary for classroom objects includes calculator (computadora), computer (la computadora), and notebook (el Cuaderno).
Examples of how one might use the article depending if it's L or La. Lapis = El. Libro = El. Mapa = El. marquador = El. Mesa= La.
To pluralize nouns, add "-s" if the word ends in a vowel (e.g., "el libro" becomes "los libros") and "-es" if it ends in a consonant (e.g., "el lapiz" becomes "los lapices").
If a word referring to a person ends in "dor" then "trabajador" will become "trabajadora".

The irregular verb "hay" means "there is" or "there are."
Normally you wouldn't want to use definite articles when trying to count something. Example: in a backpack, a bookbag, would be: unquaderno.
