- Soul and Divinity: Comprehensive belief that the entirety of Christ is present.
- Appearance: The Eucharist comes in the forms of two species:
Etymology of the Word "Eucharist"
- Origin: From the Greek word Eucharista, meaning "Thanksgiving."
- Reflects the action during the Last Supper when Jesus gives thanks before the Institution of the Eucharist.
- Significance at Last Supper:
- Jesus breaks bread saying, "This is my body," signifying the establishment of the Eucharist.
