Summary: Brandon quiere un perro.

Summary: Perros, no!

Brandon has a conversation with his mom about how he wants a dog for his birthday. He is currently 8 years old, turning 9 on the 3 of July. His mom says that a dog is an enormous responsibility for a kid his age and that dogs cause big problems.

Capitulo 5:

Summary: Capitán Brandon.

Brandon makes a fort. His dog is the guardian, even though he just sleeps, and Brandon is the captain. Brandon wants to eat “alone” in the fort and not with his sister, his sister eats with the mom. For dinner, Brandon is forced to eat with the family and the President, his dad. The dog makes a lot of noise and Brandon makes dog noises too.

Capítulo 6:

Summary: Un secreto problemático.

The dog’s name is now Denver. Jake comes through the window and they play with military figures in the fort. Brandon’s mom wants him to go to the bathroom so he doesn’t pee the bed, so Brandon is embarrassed because that was said in front of Jake. The dog pees in the fort and Jake’s pants are wet. The dog pees and poops on the floor, Brandon’s mom thinks it was him and calls the doctor because she thinks hes sick.

Summary: Una visita al doctor.

Brandon is on his bed and the dog is in the closet as his mom is on the phone with the doctor. Brandon is worried because he doesn’t want to abandon the dog to go to the doctor. The doctor says that the cure to his virus is to sleep. Brandon’s mom was right, dogs cause a lot of problems.

Summary: Decisions.

When Brandon enters his room, he sees a disaster. The dog peed and pooped on the floor. Brandon cleans and organizes his room, so his mom doesn’t see the diaster. Jake enters through the window, he wants to take the dog back to the park. Brandon agrees to the secret plan.

Capítulo 9:

Summary: El plan secreto.

Brandon is in his pajamas when Jake gets back. The go through the window with Denver and bicycle to the park. A girl sees the dog and says that it is hers, she say’s that part of the collar disconnected. The dog’s real name is Lucky. Brandon goes to sleep immediately after he gets home.

Capítulo 10:

Brandon is happy because he doesn’t have the responsibility of the dog anymore. He isn’t actually sick, so he spends his day preparing for his birthday party. His entire family and his friends go to the party. They have cupcakes and hotdogs. The small gift he opens is a car, then he gets a big gift from his grandma and its a guitar, then a big gift from his dad. It’s a dog. Ay ay ay!
