  • lower blood pressure

  • ability to exercise for long without running out of breath

  • cycling

  • dancing

  • swimming

Muscular strength

-muscular strength and power is the ability of your muscles to exert force during an activity-

if you have muscular strength you have:

  • strong muscles and tendons

  • increased metabolism

  • good posture

  • fewer injuries

activities to improve muscular strength:

  • life weights

  • shot put

Endurance

-endurance is the ability to exercise for a long time without getting tires-

  • you need muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness for endurance

activities to increase endurance:

  • running

  • jogging

  • swimming

  • cycling

Flexibility

-Flexibility is the ability to move your joints and use your muscles through their full range of motion.

Benefits of flexibility

  • increases range of motion

  • prevents and reduces muscle soreness

  • increases your speed

  • improves circulation
