Computing Devices

    • Web Servers: maintain and holds webpages by providing HTML’s requested from computing devices

    • Dedicated Server: an organization’s server containing personal data and software

    • Non-dedicated Server: server hosted in a shared environment - public cloud

  • Workstation (Clients): a computer that is used by standard to do daily work

    • Laptop: a portable computer with building components such as keyboards and monitors

      • Portability is the primary benefit

      • Lacks same amount of peripherals that a desktop has

      • Docking Stations: hardware devices that provides laptops with additional ports, power, and drive bays
