  • Remember that each bullet point is a paragraph

  • Short essay questions (2-3 paragraphs)

    • Relationship

      • Depict which of these 3/4 will be the best between the 2 articles.

        • Cause and Effect

        • Similarity o Difference

        • Turning Point

      • Pick the easiest because you still have the “bigger” essay

    • Historical Context

      • Find the relevant historical circumstance that surrounds the 2 documents

        • Use either:

          • Purpose

          • Audience

          • Bias

          • Point of View

      • Explain how any of these arguments best affects the documents use as a reliable source of evidence to your claim of background information.

  • Civic Literacy Essay (5 paragraphs); might want to do this right after the multiple choice to not get burnt out.

    • Pick 4 documents out of the 6

      • Pick the ones that you are sure you can talk about.

    • On the questions about the documents, do NOT use “because”, it will take up too much time.

    • Try to answer those questions first to get a basic gist of the articles.
