Primary Sources: Original materials; firsthand accounts.
Examples: Artifacts, diaries, letters, manuscripts, music, official documents, emails, journals, artworks, patents, audio/video recordings.
Secondary Sources: Analysis or interpretation of primary sources.
Examples: Newspaper articles, literature reviews, textbooks, biographies.
Tertiary Sources: Collections and summaries of primary and secondary sources.
Examples: Encyclopedias, dictionaries, guidebooks, manuals, directories, yearbooks.
FINDING INFORMATION SOURCES
Indigenous Knowledge: Unique cultural knowledge from indigenous peoples.
Indigenous Media: Media produced by indigenous groups for cultural preservation and expression.
Examples: Folktales, folk songs, folk dances.
Library: A resource for accessing various information and imagination works.
Internet: A global computer network sharing information globally.

Source Evaluation: Who or what is the source? Validity, accuracy, reliability.
Medium Used: Which medium disseminates the information?
Purpose: Is it to inform, persuade, educate, influence, or propaganda?
Creation Method: How was the information made?
Value: Is the information valuable to the audience?
